About me

I have been working in the design field, with emphasis on piping, using AutoCAD for approx. twenty-five years for the Petro chemical, water treatment, pharmaceutical, nuclear, oil refinery and commercial plumbing industries.

A hands-on professional with a proven record of success, I can communicate and interact effectively with individuals of all levels and handle multiple projects concurrently.

During my career I have assisted in the design, contracting and construction supervision of containment dikes for several tank farms along with truck loading and unloading stations and the design, fabrication and installation of the storage tanks and pressure vessels. My structural talents have been tested with building expansions and structures to house modular chemical systems.

While under contract at an existing chemical plant I was responsible for design, demolition and installation of all related equipment and piping systems required for re-build, modernization, and maintenance of the site, utilizing OSHA and ASME code for all construction and welding procedures. Duties also included setup of AutoCAD system, preparing, and analyzing bids, choosing contractors, purchasing necessary materials and field supervision of each project.

In this position I oversaw the plant shut-down by organizing contractors designing new projects and managing all jobs for annual two week shut-down.

I have also designed plumbing systems for multi-level buildings including schools, hotels, and universities and have done drafting for HVAC along with the piping required for the systems.

I am trained in AutoCAD, Fabrication and CADWORK to the current release and have my OSHA 10 certificate.

I look forward to the opportunity to assist your firm.
